Back to School Program

At the beginning of each year the Foundation distributes vouchers to assist families in the community with school costs. These Back to School vouchers are provided by the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) and, as the money comes from FRRR to the Foundation and is then distributed, it is known as flow-through funding.

Since 2005, the Foundation has distributed 5,799 vouchers, with a total value of $304,950. Unfortunately, this is the last year that FRRR is running the Back to
School Program.

The Foundation has been assisted in the distribution of the vouchers by Buderim Mountain State School, Mountain Creek State Primary and High Schools, Chancellor State College, Kuluin State School and Sunny Kids.

The Program is supported by FRRR, with the assistance of the Origin Energy Foundation and a generous anonymous donor, the Rotary Club of Buderim, The Buderim Foundation, BWMCA and the Buderim Lions Club.
