The Buderim Foundation

The Buderim Foundation was launched in 2004 and, thanks to many generous community donors, started distributing grants in 2008. The Foundation has provided grants worth $628,740 to 83 community organisations in the 4556 postcode area and distributed $174,450 worth of Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) Back-to-School vouchers… a benefit of over $800,000 to the Buderim community.

The concept is simple … The Foundation:

receives donations and bequests – money in
carefully invests the funds to generate income – money managed
distributes income as grants to Buderim based community organisations – money out

The funds are never spent thanks to our three very committed sponsors, our volunteers who donate their time and talent and our fundraising events, all of which cover our administration costs.
