The Foundation concept is simple … the Buderim Foundation:
receives donations and bequests – money in
carefully invests the funds to generate income – money managed
distributes income as grants to Buderim based community organisations – money out
Since its launch in 2004, the Foundation has awarded 139 grants worth $459,443 to 77 community organisations in the 4556 postcode area and distributed $154,950 worth of Back-to-School vouchers… a benefit of nearly $615,000 to the Buderim community.
This year Grant applications open on 10th June and close on 21 July. (Click on Grants/How to apply for Grant Application details.) Successful applicants will receive their grants at the Grant Giving Celebration to be held on the lawn between the Buderim Memorial Hall and Craft Cottage on 14th September at 2.00pm.
