Committee Volunteer Opportunities

Do you have skills or talents that are not currently being used? Would you like to be involved with others who are contributing to our local community?

If you have some time available, would you consider joining one of the Foundation’s Committees? All of our Committees are staffed by volunteers and a diverse range of talent is required. As well as the satisfaction of giving back to the community, our Committee members benefit from new social contacts and friendships.

We currently have opportunities within our Events and Marketing Committees, and invite you to speak with us in more detail.

Events Committee

The Events Committee develops the events program and provides resources and co-ordination for each of the events as they occur. The Foundation hosts a couple of fundraising events during the year, in addition to quarterly Ambassador Morning Teas and Happy Hours. This is a fun and enjoyable Committee. It would be an added bonus if you had some hospitality background or skills!

Marketing Committee

The Marketing Committee positions and profiles the Foundation, promoting local philanthropy and coordinating all communication activity. We are currently looking for a new Chair for the Marketing Committee, Copywriters, Marketing co-ordinators and help with our Social Media. We don’t take ourselves too seriously and aim to continue to lift the Foundations profile, enriching our community by sharing the great stories of ‘giving’ and ‘receiving’… and there are many!
