Buderim Foundation Thompson Charitable Fund Grants

In April 2021, philanthropists Roy and Nola Thompson entrusted over $5 million to the Buderim Foundation. An additional grants program entitled the Buderim Foundation Thompson Charitable Fund was established.

The Foundation will operate the Buderim Foundation Thompson Charitable Fund in the same way as the Foundation’s other investments and the generous donation will be preserved in perpetuity with only the revenue distributed each year in grants.

Grants from the Buderim Foundation Thompson Charitable Fund are open to organisations providing support to those experiencing homelessness, and in dire financial need throughout the Sunshine Coast, including the Sunshine Coast and Noosa Council areas.

So far grants worth $906,412 have been awarded to ten organisations helping individuals in need.

We are currently accepting applications for the Buderim Foundation Thompson Charitable Fund grants and will be assessing these on an on-going basis.

Please note that all applications are subject to completion of an End-of-Project Report and grant acquittal.

More growth = more grants = more smiles!

Buderim Foundation Thompson Charitable Fund Grant applications are always OPEN
