Picnic in the Park – Australia Day 2021

January 26 @ 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Come and celebrate Australia Day this year with a Picnic in the Park on the Mountain State School Oval starting 3.00 o'clock and going through until early evening. The Rotary Club of Buderim has organised a program of traditional and contemporary Australian music and bush poetry for our entertainment. BYO chairs. Snacks and dinner plates provided by a variety of food vendors. Alcohol free event. The Foundation marquee will be manned by volunteers so pop in and have a chat!

Men’s Shed Morning tea

Our first morning tea this year will be held at the Buderim Men’s Shed, 38 Advance Road, Kuluin on Wednesday, 24th February at 10.am. Cost $10 per head (cash on the day) and, due to Covid restrictions, bookings are essential. The Buderim Men’s Shed is a non-profit community organisation designed to 'keep the blokes busy and happy'. It is the largest Men's Shed in Australia and they have worked hard to establish a permanent facility for their 300 plus members.…

LifeFlight Australia Morning Tea

LifeFlight Australia delivers emergency, lifesaving medical care to seriously ill and injured people, throughout Queensland. It is an amazing story... well worth hearing. The Foundation has provided grants worth nearly $29,000 to LifeFlight in recent years. Morning tea will be served at the LifeFlight Hanger, Sunshine Coast Airport.

Compass Institute Morning Tea

June 15 @ 10:00 am

This morning tea will be held at the Compass Farm which is an award winning social enterprise located in Hunchy, 5 minutes drive from Palmwoods. The farm includes a number of distinct areas that enable people with disabilities to take up valued roles in their community. It includes the Green Thumbs Nursery, market gardens, mixed orchards, animal husbandry areas, two wood workshops, Harvest Kitchen and the Farm Art project.
