Ambassador Morning Tea

We are delighted to advise that our next Ambassador Morning Tea for 2022 will be hosted by the Buderim Billiards & Snooker Club.
The Billiards & Snooker Club was first proposed in 1945, and was the first indoor sporting venue at the Buderim War Memorial Community Centre. In 1966, the Club moved to its current location in the front of the BWMCA Hall, between the main room and the library. Since then, a bare facility has been improved with two impressive full-sized tables, a kitchen, comfortable seating and a spectacular array of growing honour boards.
The Club was the successful recipient of a 2020 Community Grant for $1,000 for refurbishment and furniture.
As the Club has two full-sized snooker tables, space is a bit tight so the presentation and morning tea will be held in the BWMCA Hall itself.
At the conclusion of the talk, we will then enjoy some morning tea on the verandah.
Please join us for another delightful morning tea, and hear about the fascinating history of the Club.
Time: 10.15am for a 10.30am start
Cost: $10.00 (cash please)
Parking: There is plenty of parking behind the Hall in Church St carpark.
