There are many ways to give … hence the reference to time, talent and treasure. Some residents have donated valuable items such as wine and artwork. Some people simply support fund raising events, the most notable being the Moonlit Garden Gathering held on the evening of the full moon in November.
• Foundation Ambassador, David Edwards has donated wine from his wonderful cellar on numerous occasions, as regular attendees at the Foundation's Moonlit Garden Gathering will confirm. He has also donated incredibly rare bottles of wine as raffle prizes and these much sought after bottles make ticket selling easy.
The 2010 Wine Raffle was a good example of how popular these raffles are, with an amazing $8,944 raised.
• Australian artist, Anna Rubin generously donated two high-quality prints as a prize for another of the Foundation's raffles. These sought after, limited edition prints were an impressive 1.5 metres tall by 1 metre wide.
• The Foundation has also recently two paintings from Australian artist, Sallie-Anne Swift, now working and living in America.
