Phil and I emigrated from England in 1990, moving to Buderim in 1997. Four children later, with rewarding
medical careers for both of us and a group of wonderful friends we're convinced we're here to stay.

I was honoured to be the Foundation's first Secretary and later to become a Director. My children are proud
of my involvement and are aware of what our Foundation can do for their generation.

But it's not all selfless volunteering. I do have an ulterior motive. I want my children to settle and raise a
family here after they've experienced a bit of the world, of course.
