Buderim residents will have an opportunity to breakfast with our popular State Governor Ms Quentin Bryce AC on Wednesday, May 9.

Ms Bryce is revisiting Buderim at the invitation of the breakfast organisers, the Buderim Foundation.

Ms Bryce visited Buderim in April, 2004, to launch the Foundation. At the time she said the Foundation was a credit to the community and provided a mechanism for people to give their time, their treasure and their talent.

She said Buderim had a proud history of protecting its assets including its natural surroundings. The Foundation's plans, she said, were practical, positive and meaningful and opened up pathways to the future.

"A community that invests in itself and its future is a rich one," she said.

The breakfast will be held at the Buderim War Memorial Hall, Main Street, Buderim at 6.45 a.m. for 7 a.m. start.

Tickets are $25 and limited to 150.
