Sticker Promotes Buderim Foundation - December 1, 2006
Buderim is breaking out in burgundy-coloured car stickers.
The stickers are appearing on cars and letterboxes as the Buderim Foundation, a community organisation set up to raise funds to preserve and enhance Buderim's quality of life, promotes an Ambassador programme.
Ambassadors will help spread the word about the Foundation and encourage the Buderim community - individuals, families, companies, trusts and institutions - to give money, shares, life insurance, property, jewellery, art...virtually anything of value, to build the fund. Only the income of the fund will be spent by way of grants for Buderim community projects.
Among the first to put the Ambassador stickers on their cars were the Ramsay family - Adrian and Rebecca and their four-year-old daughter, Paris.
The Ramsays have lived in Buderim on and off for 17 years. They returned about six years ago after living overseas.
"Buderim is where we come home to," said life coach Rebecca. "It is the place we want to raise our children, where we know we can enjoy the values of a larger family through our community.
"We firmly believe we get back what we put in, in all areas of our lives.
"The Buderim Foundation goes even further to convince us we are in the right place. The Foundation gives us an incredible vehicle to put in to our lives, the lives of our family, and the life of our wider community. We can see the value of supporting an organisation that has a vision for all. Thank you Buderim Foundation," said Rebecca.
Anyone wanting to become an Ambassador of the Buderim Foundation should call director Simon Whittle on 54437227 or email info@buderimfoundation.org.au.
