2018 Community Challenge Launch – be part of it!

Dear Ambassadors,
Would you like to be part of something special?

The countdown is on to the launch of the Buderim Foundation 2018 Community Challenge… and we are inviting you to be part of it.
Here’s what you need to know:

What
This year, the Foundation is entering a float into the Australia Day Buderim Street Parade
Not only will the float be an opportunity for us to promote the Foundation and for Ambassadors to be amongst the community spirit, it’s also serving an extra special purpose… it will be the official launch of the 2018 Community Challenge

Who
All Buderim Foundation Ambassadors are invited to join us on Australia Day
We will be very recognisable in the parade with a huge truck (thanks to Shadforths) to transport our resident band, the M7’s
We would like to have as many of our Ambassadors (including children, teenagers and young adults!) as possible walking behind our Buderim Foundation branded float
We have T-Shirts for all Ambassadors and participants

When
Friday 26 January 2018
The official grand parade kicks off at 9am at the Buderim Tavern
Meeting place for the Buderim Foundation float will be at the Buderim Tavern top carpark at 8:30am
Important to note: Main and Burnett Street will be closed quite early. We suggest you park in the Buderim Bowls Club area or on Lindsay Road and walk to the starting point
The parade will finish at 9:30am on the Buderim Mountain State School oval where entertainment and games will be in full swing until 11am

Where
After the parade, the M7’s will continue to play on the Buderim Mountain State School oval
We invite all Ambassadors to gather near the band after the parade where we’ll have a Buderim Foundation marquee set up
Please BYO coffee and a plate to share for morning tea
This will be a perfect opportunity for us to gather, connect and learn more about the 2018 Community Challenge

Please rsvp by Friday 19 January 2018 to the Chair of the Ambassador Committee, Cheryl Ryan, if you’d like to participate in the parade

Advise Cheryl of your T-shirt size and arrange to pick it up prior to or on the morning of the parade.
If for some reason you are unable to walk but would like to join us for morning tea afterwards, that’s fine too.
You are most welcome to bring new Ambassador prospects with you.
