The challenge for the Buderim Foundation in 2018 is to grow the Fund from $1.4 million to $2 million… in just one year!

The reason is simple. The larger the Foundation Fund, the more money is invested, and more income means more grants for community organisations.

It’s what the Foundation does best… money in; money managed; money out.

Why now?

It’s ten years since the Foundation’s first grants were given out in 2008. In those ten years, 66 community organisations have received grants worth a total of $383,857.

The more money in the Fund, the more money goes out in grants. For example, ten years ago in 2008, only three organisations received grants worth $13,752. Last year, with the Fund at $1.4 million, 17 organisations received a total of $64,318. A clear indication that the more money invested, the more income available to fund the grants program.

So, ten years after the distribution of the Foundation’s first grants, let’s take it to the next level. Let’s challenge ourselves to raise the Fund to $2 million by the end of 2018! Let’s make the number of grants given out over the next ten years even more impressive.
