The Buderim Foundation was launched in 2004 and, thanks to many generous donors in our community, we started distributing grants in 2008.

The concept is simple …
Money In – Donations and bequests received
Money Managed – Funds professionally invested
Money Out – Earnings distributed as grants

The donations and bequests are never spent thanks to our three very committed sponsors, our volunteers who donate their time and talent, and our fundraising events which help cover administration costs.

So far, the Foundation has provided:
$829,767 worth of Buderim Foundation Community Grants to 97 community organisations in the 4556 postcode
$620,372
in Buderim Foundation Thompson Charitable Fund grants to ten organisations throughout the Sunshine Coast region, as well as
$307,950 worth of Back-to-School vouchers for families at the start of the school year (provided by FRRR)

$1,758,089 inserted back into the Sunshine Coast community.

The Buderim Foundation would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land, the Gubbi Gubbi/Kabi Kabi people and their intimate connection to Buderim and its surroundings. We pay respect to their traditions, customs and elders past, present and emerging.
